Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 September 2026
The short version: you see a free preview before paying anything, the £199 covers your website build, monthly plans are optional and cancellable, and the site is yours.
Who these terms cover
These terms apply between Client Harbour ("we", "us") and you, the customer, when you ask us to build or manage a website. Sending an enquiry or requesting a free preview doesn't commit you to anything.
The free preview
We build preview concepts free of charge and without obligation. A preview is ours until you buy: if you don't go ahead, you don't pay, and we may reuse general design ideas (never your business details) elsewhere.
The £199 launch package
- £199 is a one-off payment, made after you've seen and approved your preview.
- It covers a mobile-first website of up to 5 pages, a contact/quote form, local SEO setup, hosting setup, and one revision round.
- We aim to have your site live within about 5 working days of receiving your content, and we'll tell you if anything changes that.
- Ongoing hosting after launch is £10 a month, or included in any monthly plan.
Monthly plans
- Managed (£149/month) and Full Service (£249/month) are optional ongoing plans for after your site is live.
- There's no long-term contract. You can cancel any time by emailing us; the plan ends at the close of the billing period you've already paid for.
- If you cancel, your site stays yours. We'll either transfer it to hosting you arrange, or keep hosting it for £10 a month.
Ownership
Once you've paid for your website, it's yours: the design, the content we wrote for you, and the domain if it's registered in your name. We'll help you transfer it if you ever move elsewhere.
What we don't promise
We build fast, clear, mobile-friendly sites that make it easy for customers to contact you, and we set them up to be found in local search. We don't guarantee specific Google rankings, enquiry volumes or revenue, and we'd be wary of anyone who does.
Third-party costs
Domain registration and any unusual third-party costs (for example, paid stock imagery you specifically request) are charged separately, and always agreed with you first.
Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the issue arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
